This revamping of the classic Matin Responsory uses techniques of minimalism to creative effect. A semi-chorus placed at a distance sings a complex ostinato to the words "Tell us" as the main choir twists and contorts the familiar chant melodies through various keys and polytonal centers. It is the perfect ethereal start for an Advent Procession service.
